Proposes the adoption of ISO 3287:1978 as an Australian Standard replacing, in part, Section 8 of AS 2359.1 and defining symbols which will provide for the development of a symbolic language for operator controls. A copy of ISO 3287:1978 may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office.
