Proposes the adoption of IEC 1330:1995 as an Australian Standard. Applies to prefabricated substations, which are cable connected for alternating current of primary rated voltages above 1 kV and up to and including 52 kV (the rated voltage on the secondary side should not exceed 1 kV), and for a transformer of a maximum power 1600 kVA for service frequencies up to and including 60 Hz for outdoor installation in locations with public accessibility. Copies of IEC 1330 may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office.
