Proposes the adoption of ISO 3131:1975, which sets out a method for determining the density of wood in the absolutely dry condition. Density may also be determined at the moisture content at the time of test, from which the density at 12 percent moisture content can be calculated, and at moisture content above fibre saturation point (conventional density). Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
