Proposes the adoption of IEC 60079-4:1975, which describes a test method that determines the ignition temperature of a chemically pure vapour or gas in air, at atmospheric pressure. A list of established ignition temperatures is provided and includes particular reference to gases and vapours used in hazardous locations. Proposed a Joint Australian/New Zealand.
