Low-voltage fuses Part 4 : Supplementary requirements for fuse-links for the protection of semiconductor devices
06-30-2017
08-12-1999
Proposes the adoption of IEC 60269-4:1986 incorporating Amendment 1:1995 which specifies supplementary requirements to those stated in AS/NZS 60269.1 for fuse-links for application in equipment containing semiconductor devices for circuits of rated value up to 1000 V a.c. or circuits of nominal value up to 1500 V d.c. This draft Standard also specifies supplementary requirements, where applicable, for circuits of higher voltages and establishes the characteristics of semiconductor fuse-links in such a way that they can be replaced by other fuse-links having the same characteristics, provided their dimensions are identical. A copy of IEC 60269-4:1986 can be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia Office or Standards New Zealand. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
