This standard applies to contactor relays according to IEC Standard 337, having specific relative positions of the contact elements and an associated terminal numbering sequence. These particular contactor relays are designated by a distinctive number followed by a specified distinctive letter. The use of this standard is recommended where terminal marking is a requirement of the relevant standard for contactor relays, or is usual practice
