Details the materials, manufacture and application of handmade insulator binds for the more widely used conductors. The requirements for factory formed helical fittings are also detailed. However, it is accepted that many binds and helical fittings will be required for use on other conductors already existing on ESI networks which are not included in the above Specifications. For these, it will be necessary in the case of a bind, to adjust the binding wire length and number of turns to suit and, in the case, of a helical fitting, ensure that the correct size and type is used.
