Le présent document expose une méthode de tri essentiellement basée sur l'utilisation de diméthylglyoxime, pour détecter la libération de nickel par des objets entrant en contact direct et prolongé avec la peau. Les essais donnent des résultats qualitatifs, non quantitatifs. NOTE: l'EN 1811 spécifie un essai de référence quantitatif pour la libération du nickel.
