Defines a procedure for determining the number of visible particles (including black dirt and contamination) of cellulose acetate insoluble in a mixture of dimethylphthalate, dichloromethane and methanol, which are equal to or in excess of 0.15 mm. Intended for cellulose acetate with an acetic acid yield in excess of 50%, which contains no additives affecting the result of the test.
