Method A examines the ability of all fluid types of temporary corrosion preventives to displace salt water from a metal surface and thereafter provide protection from corrosion. Method B is suitable for examining the water displacing properties of low viscosity temporary corrosion preventives only. Results could be affected by the spreading properties of the preventives.
