This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the measuring methods of A-weighted sound pressure levels of the sounds emitted from presses to be used for the blanking, bending, forming, deep drawing processes, etc. of metal plates, among the mechanical presses of nominal capacity 2500 kN or under, hereinafter referred to as the "presses". However, this is not applicable to the presses of special construction.
