This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies electroplated coatings of nickel (hereafter, referred to as "coatings") on the significant surface which are applied on to the iron and steel and nonferrous basis metals for engineering purposes and the significant surface of electroformings of nickel (hereafter, referred to as "electroformings").
