This specification covers hot worked and beta annealed plus alpha-beta annealed titanium alloy Ti-5111 (UNS R55111) rod (see 6.5.3) and bar (see 6.5.1) for use in critical seawater applications. This specification also covers hot worked and beta annealed plus alpha-beta annealed Ti-5111 (UNS R55111) billet (see 6.5.2) in sizes up to and including 8.375 inches thick for use in critical seawater applications.
