Describes the characteristics, performance and testing criteria for single ferrule fiber optic connectors.
This specification defines the characteristics, performance and testing criteria for single ferrule fiber optic connectors. The connectors described herein cover families as listed in 1.2. The connectors are supplied under a MIL-STD-790 reliability assurance program. See 6.1 for restrictions on intended use and applications.
