Annex A (informative): Clauses of this European Standard
                        addressing essential requirements or
                        other provisions of EU Directives

Gives the minimum structural requirements for railway vehicle bodies. It specifies the load vehicle bodies shall be capable of sustaining, identifies how material data shall be used and presents the principles for use for design verification by analysis and testing. The railway vehicles are divided into categories which are defined only with respect to the structural requirements of the vehicle bodies.
