Section 4: Additional information

Gives characteristics and inspection requirements for adjusters of assessed quality for use with magnetic oxide (ferrite) cores for inductors and transformers in tuned circuits for professional and industrial applications. Gives appropriate test methods for use in CECC 25000 and describes test schedules for use in detail specifications (DS) derived from this SS. Adjusters complying with this specification are for use with cores made by the same manufacturer and may be used with cores complying with CECC 25100. Their use enables inductance of an inductor or transformer to be adjusted for tuning.
