Deze Euronorm is van toepassing voor staalplaat en bandstaal met een nominale dikte van minder dan 3 mm. De proef bestaat in het herhaaldelijk onder een hoek van 90 graad in tegengestelde richting ombuigen van een aan een zijde vastgeklemd rechthoekig proefplaatje, waarbij iedere buiging over een cylindrisch vlak met een bepaalde straal plaatsvindt. Een heen- en weerbuiging omvat het buigen onder een hoek van 90 graad en het terugbuigen in de oorspronkelijke stand. Indien niets anders is voorgeschreven, wordt de proef bij kamertemperatuur uitgevoerd.
