Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques des mélanges traités à la cendre volante pour routes, aéroports et autres zones circulées et spécifie les caractéristiques pour leurs constituants, leur composition et leur classification selon les performances en laboratoire. Dans ce document, la cendre volante se rapporte à la cendre volante siliceuse ou calcaire conforme à EN 14227-4. Si la cendre volante fait partie d'un ciment ou d'un liant hydraulique routier conforme à l'EN 197-1 ou l'ENV 13282, il convient de se référer respectivement au prEN 14227-1 ou à l'EN 14227-5.
