La présente norme spécifie une méthode pour mesurer la perte d'insertion dans la largeur de bande de fréquence exigée pour les contacts ou les connecteurs coaxiaux à impédance caractéristique. Elle doit être utilisée conjointement avec l'EN 2591-100. La mesure est réalisée suivant la méthode vectorielle utilisant les paramètres "S".
