Ce document est applicable pour des lignes spécialisées, incluant des lignes spécialisées à mi-temps, pour lesquelles l'établissement ou le dégagement n'exige aucun protocole d'échange ou autre intervention au NTP. Le présent document est destiné à assurer l'interface de l'équipement terminal est compatible avec l'interface de ligne spécialisée de SDH. Le présent document est applicable à toutes les interfaces conçues pour la connexion aux lignes spécialisées du SDH. Les locaux câblés destinés à la clientèle et l'installation entre l'équipement terminal et le NTP sont en dehors du domaine d'application du présent document. L'essai de conformité des fonctions de section et de couche de chemin sera couvert par les sujets de travail inscrits EN 300 417-x-3 (x = 2, 3, 4 et 6). Certains essais décrits dans ces EN ne sont pas conçus pour être appliqués à l'interface d'une ligne spécialisée installée, de tels essais peuvent être appliqués à l'équipement du type employé pour fournir l'interface. Ce document n'inclut pas de détails supplémentaires relatif à la réalisation des essais ni d'information sur les réglementations appropriées. Le présent document ne spécifie pas les circonstances dans lesquelles les essais donnés dans l'EN 300 417-x-3 (x = 2, 3, 4 et 6) doivent être réalisées.
