This clause of Part 1 is applicable, except as follows:Addition:This document applies to the design of pedestrian controlled walk-behind cylinder lawnmowers; and rotary lawnmowers equipped with metalliccuttingmeans; and/or rigid non-metalliccuttingmeans; and/or non-metalliccuttingmeanswith one or morecuttingelements pivotally mounted on a generally circular drive unit, where thesecuttingelements rely on centrifugal force to achievecutting, and have a kinetic energy for each singlecuttingelement of greater than 10 J.
