La présente partie de l'ISO1132 définit les termes utilisés dans les Normes internationales spécifiant les tolérances sur les dimensions d'encombrement, l'exactitude géométrique, l'exactitude de rotation, et le jeu interne des roulements. Elle spécifie également les conditions générales d'application de ces tolérances et définit les symboles correspondants à certains des concepts définis.
