Le présent document a pour objet de fixer une méthode de détermination de la stabilité dimensionnelle (allongement et/ou retrait) des étoffes lorsqu'elles sont vaporisées sans tension ni contrainte sur une presse vapeur de type à plateaux dont les caractéristiques sont définies dans le présent document. Le présent document s'applique aux étoffes (tissées, tricotées, etc.) de toutes compositions, voire assemblées. Ces étoffes peuvent être prélevées sur des articles finis.
