Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Treibstoff-Beständigkeit von Asphaltgemischen oder Fahrbahnbefestigungen aus Asphalt. Dieses Verfahren besteht darin, einen im Labor hergestellten Probekörper oder einen aus einer Fahrbahnbefestigung entnommenen Bohrkern zunächst in Treibstoff zu lagern und ihn dann mit einer in einem Hobart-Mischer befestigten Stahlbürste zu bürsten. Der Masseverlust des Probekörpers ist ein Mass für die Beständigkeit des betreffenden Asphalts gegenüber dem betreffenden Treibstoff. Diese Prüfung wird üblicherweise mit Düsentreibstoff durchgeführt.
