Festgelegt sind die sicherheitstechnischen und umweltrelevanten Anforderungen an die Bau- und die Arbeitsweise von Drehgelenken, die in Verbindung mit Zapfstellen-Schlauchleitungen an Zapfsäulen und druckversorgten Zapfsäulen an Tankstellen eingesetzt werden. Weiters sind die elektrischen, mechanischen und hydraulischen Eigenschaften der Drehgelenke festgelegt. Berücksichtigt sind auch die Gefahren durch Entzünden von abzufüllenden flüssigen Kraftstoffen oder deren Dämpfen sowie die dabei auftretenden Umweltgefahren.
