Diese Norm legt zwei alternative Verfahren zur Bestimmung der hygroskopischen Sorptionseigenschaften von porösen Baustoffen und -produkten fest: a) Verfahren unter Verwendung von Exsikkatoren und Wägegefässen (Exsikkatorverfahren); b) Verfahren unter Verwendung einer Klimakammer (Klimakammerverfahren). Das Exsikkatorverfahren ist das Referenzverfahren. Die Norm legt kein Verfahren für die Probenentnahme fest. Die in dieser Norm festgelegten Verfahren können angewendet werden, um den Feuchtegehalt einer Probe im Gleichgewichtszustand mit Luft von einer bestimmten Temperatur und Feuchte zu bestimmen.
