Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM legt Verfahren zur Kalibrierung von Hydrophonen oder von als Hydrophone verwendeten reversiblen Wandlern, insbesondere im Frequenzbereich von 0,01 Hz bis 1 MHz, fest. Des Weiteren werden Regeln für die Darstellung der Kalibrierdaten aufgestellt.
