MEDIZINISCHE ELEKTRISCHE SYSTEME sind vom Anwendungsbereich dieser Ergänzungsnorm ausgenommen. Zweck dieser Ergänzungsnorm ist es, zusätzlich zu den Anforderungen in den Allgemeinen Festlegungen, allgemeine Anforderungen zur Reduzierung nachteiliger UMWELTAUSWIRKUNGEN von ME-GERÄTEN zu benennen und als Grundlage für Besondere Festlegungen zu dienen.
