Dieser Teil der IEC 60947 gilt für Netzumschalter (TSE) für Stromnetze mit Unterbrechung der Stromversorgung der Last während des Umschaltvorgangs, deren Bemessungsspannung 1000 V Wechselspannung bzw. 1500 V Gleichspannung nicht übersteigt. Sie gilt für: - handbetätigte Netzumschalter (MTSE); - fernbetätigte Netzumschalter (RTSE); - automatische Netzumschalter (ATSE). Sie umfasst offene TSE und TSE im Gehäuse. Geräte für die Steuerung (z. B. Steuerschalter) und den Schutz (z. B. Leistungsschalter) müssen mit den Anforderungen der jeweiligen IEC-Norm übereinstimmen. ANMERKUNG An TSE, die nur für Notbeleuchtung verwendet werden, dürfen besondere Vorschriften und/oder Anforderungen gestellt werden; daher gilt diese Norm für sie nicht.
