Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM enthält eine Prüfung, um festzustellen, ob die Kabelbefestigung eines Bauteils unter Zug stehend Torsionsmomenten standhalten kann, wobei diese Torsionsmomente bei der Installation oder im üblichen Betrieb auftreten können. Der Anwendungsbereich der Prüfung umfasst auch Kabelbefestigungen, die für Bändchenkabel vorgesehen sind.
