Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 62220-1 legt das Messverfahren fest zur Bestimmung der DETEKTIVEN QUANTEN- AUSBEUTE (DQE) von DIGITALEN RÖNTGENBILDGERÄTEN als Funktion von Dosis und ORTSFREQUENZ für Betriebsbedingungen im Bereich der medizinischen Anwendung, so wie diese vom HERSTELLER spezifiziert sind. Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 62220-1 ist anwendbar auf DIGITALE RÖNTGENBILDGERÄTE, die Bilder in digitalem Format für die medizinische Diagnose erzeugen. Sie ist beschränkt auf DIGITALE RÖNTGENBILDGERÄTE, die zur radiografischen Bildaufzeichnung genutzt werden, wie z. B. Speicherfoliensysteme, selen-basierte Systeme, Flächendetektoren, optisch gekoppelte CCD-Detektoren und für Einzelaufnahmen genutzte digitale RÖNTGENBILDVERSTÄRKER.
