Covers aluminium alloy in the form of sheet and plate. Mainly for parts needing moderate forming and where good welding characteristics, moderate strength, and good resistance to corrosion are important. Prolonged heating or excessive cold work in the temperature range 150 - 300 Deg F (65 - 150 Deg C) may cause susceptibility to stress-corrosion.
