Specifies the dimensions and tolerances of resistance spot welding electrode adaptors where the fixing element for the cap is a male taper and a parallel shaft is used to fix the adaptor to the electrode holder in accordance with ISO 8430-3 (published in South Africa as an identical adoption under the designation SANS 8430-3).
