A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Describes a transmission format for the transporting of linear time code (LTC) and vertical interval time code (VITC) over the SMPTE serial digital interface (ANSI/SMPTE 259M). The data packets will be transmitted in the horizontal ancillary data space (HANC). Mapping of data is for 10-bit interfaces only.
