Describes, with ISO 10472-1, the most significant hazards connected with washing machines and washer-extractors of all configurations with a net usable cage volume greater than 60 l.Does not apply to particular hazards for drawer-type washer-extractors, nor processing work which could begin an explosive or flammable atmosphere inside the machine. Not applicable to ancillary equipment, such as chemical supply pumps, steam valves and supply pipe work, vent, work feed, and discharge systems and ducting to the atmosphere.
