Describes the interface used to exchange information between the LIDB & the Administrative System for LIDB(AS/LIDB). Major changes include the following: messages to support the Calling Name Delivery LIDB feature; messages to support the LIDB Selective Call Blocking features; clarification of the role of a Contributing AS/LIDB & a Master AS/LIDB & associated requirements; new error codes to explicitly identify the error condition; new unsolicited LIDB messages to notify the Master AS/LIDB of a security violation, to notify the requesting AS/LIDB that all line records associated with the group record delete request have been deleted, to notify the requesting AS/LIDB that a complete data retrieval was not successful, & to notify the AS/LIDB that LIDB data recovery is complete; and much more.
