Outlines Telcordia's view of the generic requirements for documenting software for Network Switching Systems, including the purpose, content and organization, and typical format for each document. The requirements also include Random-Access Memory (RAM), which is loaded (distributed) from either a generic program or program system level processor into the RAM components of printed wiring products. This TR does not define the requirements for operation systems (i.e. programs that affect only planning, traffic engineering and ordering, administration, remote maintenance, measurement or message recording).
