Defines Bellcore's view of proposed generic requirements for 1.544 Mb/s High Capacity Digital Service (HCDS) electrical and physical parameters at the local exchange carrier Point of Termination (POT) with an end user. This document provides information necessary to support deployment of HCDS, with the digital signals transmitted to and from the POT differing as a function of the current configuration.
