Outlines and briefly describes the call processing requirements and operator services systems feature descriptions and definitions contained throughout the OSSGR. The network plan and network considerations (i.e., system placement, remoting capability, interflow, and interfaces to other network elements) of the operator services system are discussed. The system architecture is also described along with the general switching features and capabilities required by an operator services system.
