Provides Bellcore's view of proposed generic requirements and objectives placed on the network to enable support of the switched DS1/switched fractional DS1 service capability over a Primary Rate Interface (SWF-DS1/ISDN). This capability supports nx64 kbps services on a real-time switched basis. This document contains sections on user perspective, architecture considerations, service capability requirements, network interface and transport requirements, operations requirements and usage measurement generic requirements in support of billing. This TR also has appendices containing data dictionaries for SWF-DS1/ISDN and formats for SWF-DS1 BAF records. A companion document, TR-NWT-001068, provides requirements for the non-ISDN version of SWF-DS1.
