Presents Bellcore's view of proposed generic requirements of all packet switched calls that generate Automatic Message Accounting (AMA) records in Bellcore AMA Format (BAF). This includes records generated as Packet Switches (PSs), Access Concentrators (ACs) and Packet Handler Functions (PHFs). This document does not introduce and new AMA requirements, but is generated to revise and replace Section 8 of the Public Packet Switched Network Generic Requirements (PPSNGR), TR-TSY-000301, Issue 2, December 1988. It provides current packet switch AMA generic requirements stating them in a way that is consistent with other, more recent AMA requirements, and also clarifies existing PPSN AMA requirements.
