Defines an interface between loop carrier systems and loop testing systems. This interface is applicable to the testing of single party, multiparty and coin telephone services provided over loop carrier systems that interface with local switching systems on an analog basis. The information in this Technical Reference (TR) will allow manufacturers of loop carrier systems/loop testing systems to independently design their systems to be compatible with each other and with present loop testing procedures.
