This TR discusses and announcement system characterized by the ability to provide variable content and variable length announcements, as well as the ability to interact with the customer. This new TR is a part of the LATA Switching Systems Generic Requirements (LSSGR), TR-TSY-000064. Expanded Announcement System, FSD 20-06-0600, was previously integrated in TR TSY-000530 of the LSSGR. TR TSY 000530 is now being disassembled into individual Technical References for convenience of purchasing, filing and updating. Requirements in this new TR are the same as last published as a part of TR TSY-000530, Issue 2, July 1987. This Bulletin announces Bellcore's intention to provide changes to the current Expanded Announcement system requirements.
