This revision of ANSI/UL 1887 dated October 11, 2021 is being issued to update the title page to reflect the most recent designation as a Reaffirmed American National Standard (ANS).

This is a test method for determining values of flame propagation distance and optical smoke density for plastic sprinkler pipe that is to be installed in ducts, plenums, and other spaces used for environmental air.
