Fornisce le procedure per le condizioni di riferibilità degli strumenti per il monitoraggio neutroni co ambientale usati in ambito radio protezionistico e per l'irradiazione nelle medesime condizioni di dosimetri individuali per neutroni. Le prove di taratura e di irradiazione vengono eseguite tramite l'impiego delle sorgenti di riferimento neutroniche specificate nella ISO 8529. Le procedure di seguito descritte sono di carattere generale e possono essere applicate ad appropriate grandezze radioprotezionistiche espresse in termini di sievert.
