Specifica un metodo per la determinazione della resistenza all'acqua bollente ed al vapore d'acqua degli smalti porcellanati. Il metodo è applicabile agli oggetti smaltati ed è riferito alla temperatura di ebollizione dell'acqua distillata. In casi particolari l'esame può essere effettuato a temperatura minore del punto di ebollizione o con acqua diversa da quella distillata. In questi casi deve esserne fatta annotazione sul resoconto di prova.
