Descrive il metodo per determinare il carbonio e l'idrogeno totali in un campione di RDF. Le due determinazioni si effettuano con un unico procedimento. I risultati non comprendono soltanto il carbonio e l'idrogeno presenti nella sostanza organica, ma anche il carbonio presente in carbonati minerali e l'idrogeno presente nell'umidità libera che accompagna il campione, come pure l'idrogeno presente come acqua di idratazione.
