Descrive un metodo per determinare la misura dell'umidità di un campione di RDF. É utilizzabile sia dai produttori che dai venditori e utilizzatori di RDF. Data la natura empirica del metodo si richiede nella sua applicazione una rigorosa osservanza delle metodiche di analisi. Poichè l'RDF ha un'umidità estremamente variabile (da uno stato saturo d'acqua ad uno secco) particolare accuratezza va usata nella fase di campionamento, nella preparazione del campione e nella metodologia di analisi.
