La norma descrive due modalità per l'esecuzione della prova di resistenza degli smalti porcellanati ad alta tensione: il metodo A, utilizzato per individuare e localizzare i difetti dello strato di smalto; il metodo B, utilizzato per individuare e localizzare i difetti e i punti deboli (zone scarsamente coperte) dello strato di smalto.
