Dieser Teil der IEC 60044 gilt für neu hergestellte induktive Spannungswandler zur Anwendung mit elektrischen Messgeräten und Schutzeinrichtungen bei Frequenzen zwischen 15 Hz und 100 Hz.Obwohl sich diese Norm grundsätzlich auf Spannungswandler mit getrennten Wicklungen bezieht, gilt sie auch, soweit anwendbar, für Spannungswandler in Sparschaltung. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Spannungswandler zur Anwendung in Laboratorien.
